NEXT MEETING on JAN. 15 starts at 5:30 PM for our joint meeting with the Chaska Kiwanis and Lions Clubs.

Tom Croft welcomed us to the second half of his tenure and recognized recent sponsors of new members – Gary Hardel and Rick Ness.

Amanda Bloomgren and Char Weber reminded us of our annual GALA to be held on March 14 at Hazeltine. Sponsors, silent auction items and Rotary volunteers are needed to make this a success. This year’s fund-raising efforts will benefit the youth within our community through our scholarship program, Treehouse and Camp Tanadoona. The theme will center on New Orleans and Mardi Gras, with related food and live music. Ken Hiller may wear a costume, but others will probably abide by the suggested “black tie” and female equivalent. We were asked to invite friends and neighbors in order to make this a more diverse and inclusive event.

Dan Keyport asked that everyone review the Speaker Program and Host schedule e-mail he sent on Dec. 28, and to notify him if changes are needed.
