The Christmas in May program began in 1996, when volunteers, organized by Chaska Rotary Club, decided to devote one day in May to renovate and repair homes of Chaska residents who were unable to do the work themselves or to hire someone to do the work for them.

Though the program was originally started by the Chaska Rotary Club, the program has grown to become a stand-alone nonprofit organization. Each year, Chaska Rotarians join with others to do both skilled and unskilled labor as we lend a hand to our neighbors. And each year Rotary Club of Chaska supports the organization with a financial donation.

We are proud to have been instrumental in creating an event that reignites the spirit of Christmas in May.
