New Teacher Breakfast
The Chaska Rotary Club has a long-standing interest in education. Our support includes activities such as the student foreign exchange program, the annual Hooked on Books event, and scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors. We believe education is primary to building a strong and successful community – and teachers are fundamental to that education.
One of the highlights of our honoring educators is our annual new teacher breakfast. Rotary provides a plated breakfast meal to new educators and district administrators in our District’s public and non-public schools. We also provide a brief program to welcome new staff.
The highlight of our morning together includes meeting our District 112 Teacher of the Year and listening to them inspire our new teachers to be passionate about their journey into the field of education.
