Emma enjoyed her first week in Minnesota and fluently described her classes at Chaska High School. She has experienced the wonders of the Mall of America and will be going to the state fair with Dan and Georgiann Keyport.

PRESENTATION: Aaron Schram, Founder of Schram Vineyards
Lindsey Hagen welcomed back Aaron Schram, the founder of Schram Vineyards. In January 2019, Aaron provided a presentation to our Rotary club. At that time, he shared his enthusiasm for opening the Schram Haus Brewery in a renovated building that had been used by Chaska’s maintenance operation. Unfortunately, the last two years provided no profit from the brewery, despite our club’s enjoyment of its offerings after our highway cleanup efforts and other community-service projects through the years.
Aaron’s business journey is a great tale of entrepreneurial spirit and its blending with community involvement. He describes the breadth of challenges in building “a fully integrated business” that requires expertise and success in growing (literally) a product, manufacturing it with equipment and science, and then marketing and understanding the needs of customers.
