Last Week's Presentation

Invocation: David Brecht

Al Norby has been the Executive Director of Love INC for the past 3 years and was just getting familiar with his position when COVID struck.  All the connections that had been established among the churches and charitable organizations in Carver County were tested against the pressures exerted by the pandemic.  As people lost income, jobs and places to live, Al rallied resources and support to provide the compassion and unity that fulfills the mission of Love INC.  He explained that gaps exist in the safety net for people who find themselves in need of the bare essentials.  Love INC is non-denominational and provides help by consolidating donations and distributing them through the food shelf Bountiful Basket in Chaska and FurniShare, a furniture outlet in Chanhassen.
