  • All our members should be excited about their soon-to-be-unwrapped treasures acquired at our annual Holiday Auction on Dec. 19.  Please show up at 07:15 AM with presents in hand, and generosity in your heart.
  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  • We collected $565 in donations for the Chaska Public Safety Heroes and Helpers Team to buy presents at the Chaska Target Store on Dec. 7.  The wrap-a-thon also included volunteers from Latino Voices and Chaska Lions sending about 200 presents out the door with many smiling children and their parents.
  • The Chaska 100 donated funds and the City provided employees and Chaska produced the crowd that enjoyed the Dec. 8 tree lighting ceremony at the Event Center.
  • Celine Haga was glad to see the return on her invested words asking for our help to conduct a mini food drive today.  Bagloads of non-perishable items and some cash were added to the collection by Chaska High School.  Plus, it gave us the opportunity for a rare group photo!
  • After today’s meeting, Bob Chinnock and the STRIVE mentors spent time with the students at the school’s Career Resource Center.
 
  • Ken Hiller posted the flag from Hyderabad, India.  It was delivered to us in 2007 by our exchange student Maya Chandrashekaran.  Ken also showed photos that he took at Maya’s wedding in India.

ROTARY EXCHANGE STUDENT - Marcos Alonsos
Marcos spent creative-chef time in the kitchen of Dan and Georgiann Keyport, bowling and getting to know the muscles needed for Nordic skiing with the Chaska High School team.
