Jean Heyduck noted it was Juneteenth. We observed a moment of silence with respect to the murder and assassination that occurred last weekend.
Bob Roepke called attention to the work of law enforcement responding to the murders, and specifically the actions of the Chaska Police and Chief Ryan Seibert’s statement in the Carver County Local News.
Neil Wingert gave a quick review of the presentation by the Metropolitan Council at the Chaska Event Center on June 18 and gave out cards identifying our area’s representative Deb Barber, phone 612-819-0848, email deb.barber@metc.state.mn.us. Neil also reminded us of the upcoming Chaska PRIDE picnic on Saturday, held at McNight Park 3:00 – 6:00 PM.

Erin displayed the organization of positions within the club, noting who was doing the work and which jobs would move forward if a member would stand up and address the need.
Note from John Roebke: Invocations can be a faith traditional prayer, or a meditation, or inspirational verse or quote. Brief 20 – 30 seconds. Light-hearted is okay. Option: focus on our Mission of Service Above Self. Need an idea – Google Rotary Invocations. Not a personal talent? Don't wait, tell me NOW, 612-790-7067, john.roebke@live.com. I will be glad to name another. If I forgot that you told me not a talent, please forgive me. Remind me. If not a good DATE, trade with a mate.
