· Our own Chaska Cares golfing fundraising event will be on Sept. 9 at the Town Course. It will benefit our Miracle Field project. More information will be available soon.

FINEMASTER + HAPPY DOLLARS

Vic Benetti performed quick duties as Finemaster, shuffling fines like a casino blackjack dealer. Individuals, tables of innocents and even Vic himself paid fines. The pain didn’t last long – like tearing off a Band-aid!

Happy Dollars were a soothing balm for several attendees: Rick Ness (live and in person!), David Brecht, Matt Podhradsky, Keith Payne and Mike Wentzell.

PRESENTATION

Tonya Andruskiewicz - Flexibility Fitness

Matt Podhradsky introduced Tonya Andruskiewicz, who describes herself as a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Fitness

Chef, and Essential Oil Consultant. Tonya shared her varied professional history and a pivotal moment talking with Minnesota baseball celebrity Harmon Killebrew. Through a slide presentation that showed many happy children, Tonya concluded that the primary result of all her efforts and methods of bringing adaptive activities into their lives, was that making friends was the most beneficial.

She illustrated many of the events at the Chaska Community Center that were focused on INCLUSION – the same goal our club has in promoting the Miracle Field. Tonya stressed that the impact of single conversations can be powerful, and she hoped we could spread that concept as we talked about the benefits of adaptive activities within our community.
