It’s scheduled on Nov. 9 + 10 at the Solseng Tin Shed (AKA SunMeadow Farm). Hours on Saturday: noon – 9 PM; Sunday: 1100 – 1600 (European-style time). Please let Cindy or Gretchen know when you can help. The event will offer mulled wine, a campfire, and about 25 artists displaying their crafts.
Dan Keyport presented this week’s club flag from Greenland. It was brought back by our outbound Exchange Student Noah.
Greg Anderson passed along greetings from our 2005 student Russell Cunningham, from South Africa. The photo (at right) is not current. He is now married and they have a child. That changes the way we look....
Bob Chinnock asked for mentors to accompany the STRIVE students on their visits to Dunwoody and St. Thomas next Wednesday (11/6).

ROTARY EXCHANGE STUDENT -Marcos Alonsos
Marcos is still impressed by the football games, but also enjoyed a Timberwolves professional basketball event.
Erin Kerber introduced Becky Ramble, a business consultant, author, teacher and producer of online videos, newsletters and articles about artificial intelligence and marketing. She is a member of Bloomington Rotary. Several attendees indicated they have already started down the technology road promoted by Becky. ChatGPT is an AI application that can be used to produce written materials. Microsoft and Apple both started advertising their AI platforms this week and Becky’s business offers training and consulting for organizations wrestling with the possibilities for enhancement and the threat of falling behind competitors. There are free artificial intelligence apps, but it sounded like this may be short-lived as time and desirable software capabilities expand.
Note from John Roebke: Invocations can be a faith traditional prayer, or a meditation, or inspirational verse or quote. Brief 20 – 30 seconds. Light-hearted is okay. Option: focus on our Mission of Service Above Self. Need an idea – Google Rotary Invocations. Not a personal talent? Don't wait, tell me NOW, 612-790-7067, john.roebke@live.com. I will be glad to name another. If I forgot that you told me not a talent, please forgive me. Remind me. If not a good DATE, trade with a mate.
