  • After today’s meeting, Bob Chinnock and the STRIVE mentors will hear Matt Szybnski provide his employment history in the medical profession.

 
 
 

HAPPY DOLLARS

No Finemaster this morning.  Happy Dollars were donated by Gretchen Oppriecht, Sheryl Hough and David Harvieux.  Congratulations to the Quiz bowl and Knowledge Bowl teams at the high school!  It was great to see David back to a meeting!

Holiday Auction Highlights
 

Our auction provided excitement as bidding escalated for choice items, some jealousy was felt when listening to the poetry and intriguing clues prompting our bidding, and the tension was high during the Heads and Tails raffle-game.  Ken Hiller was the ultimate winner (hint – next time buy a lot of tickets!) and his split of the pot was donated to a fund that will take Marcos to Hawaii with an Exchange Student group.

 

Many Thanks to all the prep work by Sheryl and Gretchen to make the auction successful.  Much appreciation to our interns Madison and Summer, and Marcos for helping the delivery of auction gifts.  Our auction was fun and the generosity of our members made this event an outstanding closing act for 2024!
