Jodi Hesse continues her Wine Tent work for us! Members who haven’t received their insulated beverage cup should contact her.
Amanda Bloomgren gave us her first notice of the LlamaRama Fall Festival on October 8, 2022 at the Carver County Fairgrounds in Waconia. Ticket sales will benefit Launch Ministry and are available at www.llamaramamn.com.
Dan Keyport will be raising money for the ThreeSixty Journalism program at the University of St. Thomas at his Annual Doug Hennes HERF on Aug. 26. Cigar smoke and laughter will undoubtedly fill the air in the Keyport garden. Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.com/e/373599515207.
Dan celebrated the Rotary Foundation donations of Steve Wein and presented him with a Paul Harris + 1 pin. Thanks Steve!
In the topic of Thank You messages, Matt Podhradsky shared two notes from Rotary Scholarship recipients. Payton Wurtz will be attending Texas Christian University, studying Actuarial Science. Grace Tierney will be on her path to becoming a Pediatrician at the University of Alabama.
Keith Payne and Jodi Hesse purchased and donated Rotary flags that were inaugurated at our Wine Tent, and now announce our meeting presence at the Chaska Curling and Event Center. Many THANKS for their generosity!
Happy Dollars
There were no Finemaster jokes today, but many Happy Dollars were waving in the air for Intern Sienna White to pick them up. Those who shared their hearts and dollars: Michelle Kraus, Gretchen Oppriecht, Mike Fahey, Steve Wein, Dan Keyport, and Andy Haugen – who thanked those who volunteered to help at the Music Fest.
