Club Announcements and Updates
Finemaster
To celebrate his daughter’s wedding this month, Dan quizzed each table and the Zoomers about wedding traditions around the world. Everyone paid for their lack of worldly knowledge. Some wallets still had contents, so Happy Dollars came from Steve Mueller, Ken Hiller, and Gretchen.
Announcements
Gretchen Oppriecht shared a Thank You letter for our financial support of Auburn Manor and Services. She also thanked the Club and sponsors for our contribution to the Christmas in May projects. We have been asked to financially support the town’s baseball team. Gretchen will share information about a scholarship that is available to a non-Rotarian.
Highway Roadside Cleanup
On May 24, Mike Wentzell led a Dirty Dozen in our Adopt A Highway cleanup service to Chaska, on both sides of Highway 41 south of Engler Blvd. Afterwards we enjoyed a Club Social gathering at the Schram Haus Brewery.
Chaska Herald
The Chaska Herald continued to help publicize our Rotary Leads the Way in May with a Guest Commentary from Erika Kennedy (May 26). To read this, connect to the online version at
