ROTARY EXCHANGE STUDENT - Marcos Alonsos
Marcos met with other Exchange Students at Valley Fair and enjoyed this sunny October weather. He is not used to cold weather like we expect in normal years.
Happy Dollars
No Finemaster this morning. Happy Dollars were donated by Dan Keyport, Sheryl Hough and Gretchen Oppriecht (who must be on a streak of being happy at our meetings).
MUSIC FEST
Erin Kerber asked for feedback from all the pieces that came together to produce the Music Festival and Raffle ticket sales. On Facebook, Michelle Kraus announced the winner of the Raffle – Joan Seedorf, who collected $5,710. Joan works with the Chaska Parks and Recreation Department and helped with the event. Karma!
Note from John Roebke: Invocations can be a faith traditional prayer, or a meditation, or inspirational verse or quote. Brief 20 – 30 seconds. Light-hearted is okay. Option: focus on our Mission of Service Above Self. Need an idea – Google Rotary Invocations. Not a personal talent? Don't wait, tell me NOW, 612-790-7067, john.roebke@live.com. I will be glad to name another. If I forgot that you told me not a talent, please forgive me. Remind me. If not a good DATE, trade with a mate.
