Irina Junco eloquently described the relationships she has formed with her host families. She encouraged all club members, of all ages, to volunteer as hosts – even if there is no high school age student in the household. For a foreign exchange representative, any supportive and caring environment will bring its own unique rewards. We were rewarded by her encouraging words – one of the best presentations she has given us!
At the end of the morning meeting, Irina demonstrated an Argentine tradition of using cake icing as a facial decoration! Thank You to Ken Hiller for the cake, decorated with Irina’s favorite flag.
