Gretchen Garcia invited us to attend the School Board Candidate Forum at Chaska High School on September 30 (TUESDAY) at 4:10 PM.
NEXT MEETING LOCATION: At Camp Tanadoona. Google for directions, or go north of Chaska on highway 41, cross Highway 5, and look for Tanadoona Drive. If you pass Lake Minnewashta Park, you’ve gone too far.
Ron Cossette asked for cash contributions so he can purchase books and for men’s clothing donations (NEXT MEETING) for Five Star Recovery participants.
Kevin Heglund continued the request for relief as a Sergeant-at-Arms. We don’t seem to be responding in a “Fair” and “Beneficial To All Concerned” manner…..
Amanda Bloomgren and Greg Osterdyk again asked for STRIVE volunteer mentors to help high school students.
Amanda asked for nominations for our annual Gala fund recipient.
Cindy Anderson asked for support for the annual St. Francis Foundation Gala (10/4/14) and the End Polio Now 5K Turkey Trot. Volunteers and sponsors are needed.
The Golf Ball Drop winner was Andrea Johnson, wife of club member Brett Johnson. Congratulations!
Tom Croft provided an update on Scott Knight’s medical condition after his surgery.
Del Ploen invited us to join him on October 21 at Marsh Lake, for a hunting day and/or dinner. Call Del for details for this annual event.
This was the farewell meeting for Kristy Miklas, who is leaving Minnesota to join her husband Carl in Florida. She is generously willing to keep supporting our club with her accounting and billing activities.
