SCOTT KNIGHT: Tom Croft asked for prayers and supportive thoughts for Scott Knight as he gets treatment for cancer in his jaw. Tom requested that he be the conduit for messages to Scott.
BRIDGING: Fran Heitzman and Diana Dalsin were visitors to our meeting, and Fran provided us with a display of passion for a cause that most of us can only hope for. Diana is the Community Relations Manager for Bridging. She asked for volunteers interested in helping her organization continue to serve our community, along with 160 other organizations that change lives. Steve Mueller needs our help with our 15th annual Bridging donation pickup on SATURDAY September 6. Two shifts are available on: 7:45 – 10 AM, and 10 AM – noon. Eight or more volunteers and several trucks are required for the labor and logistics on each shift.
BRIDGING is looking for donations of:
* Furniture – beds, bed frames, chairs, dressers, chests, lamps, sofas, tables
* Household Items – small appliances, bake ware, dishes, glassware, ironing boards, pots & pans, silverware, bedding, blankets, pillows, towels, area rugs no larger than 8’x10’
Drop off location: VALLEY EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH parking lot. Highway 41 and Engler Boulevard. A semi-trailer will be in the parking lot that morning. Pick Up in the Chaska area is available, if we provide the volunteers. For pick up call Sue (612-432-7965) or Steve (952-261-7655).
