RIVER CITY DAYS. Ron Cossette challenged everyone to find tropical shirts to match his during the annual River City Days Steak Fry on Saturday, July 26. Shift sign-up lists were filled by the most dedicated of our Rotarians who know from experience that this event is both fun and important in our fund-raising and marketing efforts.
Four shifts are available:
• Food Prep 1:30 – 3:30 PM;
• Set-up, Corn, Ticket Sales 3:30 – 5:00 PM;
• Cooking, Serving + Sales: 5:00 – 7:00 PM;
• Finishing and more Fun: 7:00 PM– closing.
Dan Keyport promoted the Wine Booth as another opportunity for this All Hands weekend of Service. Fruit of the vine crew: Friday and Saturday.
MEMBERSHIP LEADER NEEDED. Gary Goeman will be turning over the role of our club’s membership leader to a member who wants to help sow the seeds of our club’s future.
URGENT NEED – FOREIGN EXCHANGE HOSTS. Kevin Eide asked for immediate help in arranging host families for our Argentine student, who arrives in August.
MEMBER UPDATE. Karl Nyline and his wife have moved into All Saints assisted living facility in Shakopee. Their address: 1880 Independence Drive, Apt 233, Shakopee 55379, Ph: 952 445 -6053.
