Cory Whitmer is the Design and Sales Manager for The Mustard Seed located west of Chaska on Highway 212. He had planned to provide the Chaska Rotary with advice on preparing our gardens and yards for winter. What occurred instead was 30 minutes of questions and answers from the audience. Cory responded with expertise and good humor, with information about grass height, trimming trees, sowing Critter Crumbs to stop uninvited diners, fall planting of grass seeds and saplings, applying gypsum in spring and agricultural lime in fall. The Q&A was very helpful for all of us, even though he never shared his presentation. Your humble meeting recorder was thrilled to know that “Critter Crumbs” were created to fight squirrels. Amen!
