Lynn Ayers gave up a Happy Dollar to announce the relocation of the Taste of Minnesota to the Carver County Fairgrounds in the city of Waconia (501 West 3rd St.). Normally held on Harriet Island in St. Paul, the high waters forced the annual event to be moved, and our county will benefit from the influx of visitors. Aside from the music, food and fireworks each night July 3, 4, 5 + 6, the highlight may be the Kemps “Interactive Incredible Milking Cow station where families can milk the rubber udders of a simulated Kemps cow!” For more information about the events and entertainment: http://www.atasteofmn.com
